Vanilla Kiwi Oat Smoothie

This vanilla kiwi breakfast smoothie is the perfect way to start your day! We made it in a mason jar so you can eat it on the go as well!

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • Boiling hot water
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1-2 prunes
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1-2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 4-6 tbsp of soya milk


  • Add oats to a large bowl. Pour in enough boiling water to cover the oats. Soak for 30 minutes and leave to cool.
  • Add oats, prunes, soya milk, honey and vanilla extract to a blender (or food processor). Blend until smooth.
  • Slice kiwi (two thin slices). Press firmly inside of a dry jar. Pour in the smoothie and add remaining kiwi chunks to the top.
