Notes

To make a minced beef sauce:
  • Heat up some sunflower oil (or a healthy oil of your choice) in a pan. Add ½ chopped onion and 1 crushed garlic clove to the heated oil and cook them until they are soft and golden-brown. Then, add 250g of minced beef with salt and pepper and cook until the beef is browned.
  • Add 1-2 Tbsp of tomato puree to the cooked beef and stir. Sweeten with a drop of lemon juice, salt to taste, pepper to taste and a pinch of oregano. Cook on low heat for about 10-12 minutes. You can also add any other seasoning of your choice.
