Preheat the oven at 230 °C. Cover an oven rack with aluminium foil, lightly oil the foil and set aside.
Add flour, baking powder, salt, chilli powder, garlic powder to a large bowl and whisk (add other seasoning if you wish).
Use a paper towel to pat down each wing until they are dry. Then dip each wing into the flour mix, place them unto the foil and make sure they are 2 cm apart.
Bake wings for 40 minutes and turn half way through.
While the wings are baking get started on the sauce. Melt 1/4 cup of butter in a saucepan on a low heat. Then add 1/2 a cup of hot sauce, season to taste if necessary and cook until the sauce starts to bubble.
Once the wings are ready remove them from the oven. Dip and drench each wing into the hot sauce and serve as desired.
