Chop the beef into equal-size medium chunks, and then add them to a bowl.
Add a few drops of sunflower oil, salt and pepper, soy sauce, honey and lemon juice to the bowl with beef and rub the ingredients into the meat. Let the meat marinate in this mixture as you prepare the broccoli.
Chop the broccoli and a whole onion. Heat up some sunflower oil in a pan and add the garlic and onions. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until fragrant.
Then, add the beef chunks and cook on both sides for 5-7 minutes on medium heat. Add the broccoli for another five minutes and stir.
Notes
Vegan: Soy beef is a great plant-based protein that mimics the taste, texture, and protein content of real beef. It’s called teaspoon (textured soy protein), and soy is the main ingredient.
Add-ins: For a heartier dish, toss in some mushrooms to give the beef and broccoli recipe a meatier vibe. Want more veggies? Add carrots. For an extra kick, throw some ginger in the pan for a bold, spicy flavor.
Broccoli: If you prefer, you can pan-fry the broccoli with a little oil instead of boiling it.
