Add baking powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika to the wings and mix until evenly combined.
Place the wings on the rack and space them out.
Bake wings on each side for 15-18 minutes, depending on the size of the wings.
Five minutes before the wings are done, melt butter in a saucepan on the stove or in a microwave. Then add grated garlic, chopped parsley and grated parmesan to the bowl and stir until combined.
Once the wings are ready, remove them from the oven and add them to the buttery sauce. Toss the wings in the sauce and make sure they are fully coated.
Serve these delicious crispy garlic parmesan wings as an appetizer or side.
Notes
Chicken wings: Cut the wings into three and you should be left with a drumette, wingette and wing tip. Discard the wing tips. Before seasoning the chicken, pat them dry using a paper towel. This will make the wings extra crispy. If you are using frozen wings, allow them to thaw completely before seasoning.
Parmesan: Grate a block of parmesan as it has a richer flavor than grated parmesan.
Baking powder: This secret ingredient makes the chicken skin extra crispy.
