This Gigi Hadid Vodka Pasta, aka pasta alla vodka, is bursting with flavor and is so easy to make. It combines tomato paste, vodka, heavy cream, parmesan and pasta to make a drool-worthy dish. Serve it plain, with garlic bread or with veggies.
Bring salted water to a boil in a saucepan. Add shell pasta to the saucepan and cook for 7-9 minutes. Ensure the pasta is not too soft because it will soften when added to the tomato sauce.
In the meantime, make the sauce. Heat a splash of olive oil in a pan, then add red onion, and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes or until fragrant.
Next, add tomato paste to the pan. Cook and stir on medium for 2 minutes. Next, pour in the vodka and cook for another 2 minutes.
Pour in heavy cream and stir well. Then add salt to taste, black pepper to taste and chili flakes. Stir again.
Cook the sauce on low heat for 2-3 minutes and allow it to thicken. Then add the cooked, drained pasta and reserve some of the water for later.
Mix the pasta and sauce together and add pasta water if necessary. Add parmesan and unsalted butter and stir.
Remove the pasta from the heat and garnish it with freshly chopped basil. Serve with more grated parmesan, chili flakes and garlic bread.

Pasta: This dish can be made with different types of pasta. For example, use rigatoni, penne, fusilli, or tagliatelle; it will taste just as delicious!
Vodka: Ensure you cook the vodka on medium heat to cook out the alcohol.
Herbs: If you are not a fan of basil, then swap it with parsley instead.
