Whip up a succulent Onion Burger In-N-Out Style, right in your kitchen! You can recreate this mouthwatering delight with just a handful of readily available ingredients. It only takes 30 minutes! Serve it for a quick dinner or impress your guests at your next barbecue gathering.
Begin by making the sauce. Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, gherkin juice, and gherkins in a bowl until well combined. Adjust the quantities of each ingredient to your liking. Keep this sauce aside for later use.
Proceed to peel and dice large onions. Keep these aside as well.
Heat a dash of vegetable oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, add six frozen beef burgers to the pan.
Cook the burgers on both sides for approximately 5-7 minutes on medium heat, or until they’re thoroughly cooked.
As the burgers cook, add the diced onions to the pan. Cook these on both sides for about 3-5 minutes, or until they turn a golden color.
Once the beef patties are cooked, place slices of cheese on top. After the cheese melts, start stacking your burger. Begin with an onion slice, followed by a beef patty with the cheese side up, another cheese-topped patty, and finally, another onion slice.
Serve this juicy, homemade Flying Dutchman burger with the previously prepared burger sauce and some yellow chili peppers for an added kick.

Notes
Beef patties: To make your own beef patties, form some ground beef into balls. Then, flatten them with your hands or a spatula. Sprinkle some salt, pepper, and garlic powder over them for flavor. Cook them on a skillet or a grill, turning them occasionally. Keep an eye on them so they don’t get too dry or stiff.Burger sauce: The burger sauce is easy to customize. Just taste it and see if you want to add more or less of any ingredient. You can make it tangier, sweeter, spicier, or creamier according to your preference.
