This delicious chilli and lime steak salad bowl was a joy to make and eat! It's filled with so many different flavors and textures making the perfect salad
Cut 200-250g of steak into strips and add the strips to a bowl. Season with salt to taste, cayenne pepper to taste, paprika to taste, 1-3 tablespoon of lime juice, a splash of sunflower oil, mix and leave to marinate for 5-10 minutes.
Meanwhile, rinse and chop 1 red bell pepper, onion and set aside for later. Heat a splash of sunflower oil in a pan, add onions and cook for a few minutes. Then, add steak strips and cook for 5-7 minutes on a medium/high heat (or until cooked). Finally, add red peppers and cook for another 3-5 minutes and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Cook or microwave ¾ cup of sweetcorn. Then, chop 2 romaine lettuce, 1-½ cup of baby tomatoes, 1 avocado and ¼-1/2 red onion.
Get ready to plate up! Add all of the ingredients to the bowl including 4-5 tablespoon of precooked black beans, a wedge of lime, 2-3 tablespoon of sour cream or Greek yogurt and sprinkle feta cheese on top!
