Notes
Waffle maker: If you have not got a waffle maker, you can still make this recipe. You can make these waffles with a griddle pan. You need to grease your pan before pouring in your batter. I picked this tip from Jamie Oliver from one of his pan waffle recipes. So basically you would be making a griddle pan waffle. Feel free to divide your waffles into portions or serve them as a whole.
Waffle Batter: Make sure that you don’t overmix your waffle batter as this will make the waffles tough. It's ok if you can still see some lumps in your batter.
Healthy chocolate chip waffles: For a healthier chocolate chip waffles use wholewheat flour instead of all-purpose flour.
Alternatives: Feel free to add less or more chocolate chips to suit your taste.
