Heat a splash of oil on a low/medium heat. Add ½ of the onions for 3 minutes and allow them to caramelise. Then, add the garlic and after 1 minute add the minced meat. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper to taste, stir well until all the minced meat is cooked and is brown.
Pour in the tinned tomatoes and stir well. Add the tomato puree, season the sauce with salt and pepper if necessary. Leave to cook for 6-8 minutes on a medium heat and then add greens, fresh tomatoes and stir well.
Meanwhile, grab another saucepan and bring salted water to a boil and add the pasta. Cook for 8-12 minutes (it should still be quite hard) and preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/gas 6. Once the past is cooked the water out and add the minced meat sauce. Stir well and add a handful of cheese. Then, add grated cheese and breadcrumbs to the top and bake for 10-15 minutes.
