How To Make Ground Beef Pasta Bake
- Heat a splash of oil on a low/medium heat. Add 1/2 of the onions for 3 minutes and allow them to caramelise. Then, add the garlic and after 1 minute add the minced meat. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper to taste, stir well until all the minced meat is cooked and is brown.
- Pour in the tinned tomatoes and stir well. Add the tomato puree, season the sauce with salt and pepper if necessary. Leave to cook for 6-8 minutes on a medium heat and then add greens, fresh tomatoes and stir well.
- Meanwhile, grab another saucepan and bring salted water to a boil and add the pasta. Cook for 8-12 minutes (it should still be quite hard) and preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/gas 6. Once the past is cooked the water out and add the minced meat sauce. Stir well and add a handful of cheese. Then, add grated cheese and breadcrumbs to the top and bake for 10-15 minutes.
