Add one cup of the frozen mixed berries to your saucepan. Add 1 tablespoon of water to the saucepan as swell. Cook the berries on medium heat until they start to bubble, then lower the heat and simmer for 2-5 minutes. Once this compote mixture is cooked, add it to a jar and store it in the fridge after it has cooled down.
Take ¼ cup to ½ cup of oats and cook it according to the instructions on your oatmeal packaging. Pour the cooked oats into a bowl and add the remaining ingredients, which includes 2-3 tablespoon of your refrigerated berry compote, a chopped banana, 1-2 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of oil-free nut butter, and 1 tablespoon of your favorite Greek yoghurt.
Optional: Sprinkle crushed almonds or nuts of your choice atop the oatmeal.
