How to Make Easy Strawberry Crunch Cake
- Preheat the Oven to 160°C fan/180°C/325°F/Gas 3. Grease and line a 9x9-inch square tin, then set it aside. In a medium bowl, add all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking soda, bicarbonate soda, salt, and strawberry jello powder.
- Whisk together the dry ingredients and set them aside.
- In a separate bowl, add sugar, water, milk and oil.
- Then, add strawberry puree and pink food gel.
- Mix all of the wet ingredients until combined as shown in image 5.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet mix and stir until combined.
- Don’t overmix!
- Pour the batter into your prepared cake tin and pop it in the oven. Bake for 30-33 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool completely.
Topping
9. While the cake cools, grab the cream from the middle of the golden Oreos and put the cookies in a ziplock bag or bowl along with the freeze-dried strawberries.
10. Use a rolling pin or a fork to crush them into crumbs. Add melted butter to the bag or bowl shown in image 10 and shake it until it's all mixed.
11. Check if the cake has cooled completely.
12. Once the cake has cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting over the top.

- ⅔ cup of freeze dried strawberries
- 2 tablespoon of unsalted butter melted

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160°C fan/180°C/325°F/Gas 3. Line and lightly grease a 9X9 square tin. Set aside for later.
- In a medium sized bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking soda, bicarbonate soda, salt and strawberry jello powder. Whisk well until evenly combined. Set aside.
- Next, add sugar, water, milk, oil, strawberry puree, pink food gel to a separate bowl and mix until combined.
- Pour the flour mixture into the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the strawberry cake batter into the lined cake tray.
- Bake for 30-33 minutes.
- Once the cake has baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool.
Topping
- As the cake cools, prepare the topping. Remove cream from the middle of the golden Oreos then add them to a zip bag along with freeze dried strawberries. Then, use a rolling pin or blunt object to crush the ingredients into crumb texure. Next, add melted butter to the bag and shake until combined.
- Next, make the whipped cream topping by poring heavy cream and sugar into a bowl. Whisk the heavy cream for 3-5 minutes or until spreadable.
- Once the cake has cooled, spread the whipped cream on top of the strawberry cake. Then, add the crunch topping on top. Cut the cake into equal-sized squares then top each square with whipped cream and strawberries.
