Equipment
- 1 Medium-sized pot
- 1 chopping board
- 1 Chefs knife
Ingredients
- 500 g okra chopped thinly
- 2 tsp of apon
- 1 tablespoon of iru
- 1 cube of Maggi
- Salt to taste
- ¼ cup of dry powdered crayfish
- ¼ cup Dry fish
- 100 g of pre-cooked meat assorted see notes
- 100 g of fresh large shrimp
- Ground pepper to taste
- ½ cup of chicken stock
- A splash of palm oil
Instructions
- Wash and finely chop the okra. Discrad the top and the tips.
- Add water, palm oil, ground pepper, iru, and chicken stock to the pot. Cook for about 5 minutes.
- Add dry fish and assorted meat. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of apon. Cook for 15-20 minutes.
- Add salt, maggi, and shrimp. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Finally, add your chopped okra and cook for 10 minutes.
- Serve with eba or pounded yam.
