These pink chocolate-covered strawberries are the best, easy dessert option when you are short on time. They are super easy to customize and don’t require much skill to make. Simply melt some chocolate, dip the strawberries in and add your toppings of choice.
For this recipe, I decided to add pink sprinkles, crushed peanuts, coconut flakes and chocolate but feel free to add any topping of your choice. You can also serve them plain with chocolate only if you don’t have any toppings to hand.
This dessert is perfect for valentines day, birthdays, bridal showers and baby showers. They are best served right away but they can also be stored for 1-2 days.
Pink Chocolate Covered Strawberries Ingredients
- Strawberries: Fresh, ripe, juicy strawberries work best for this recipe. The strawberries must be washed and dried before dipping in melted chocolate.
- White chocolate: Melt good quality white chocolate for dipping.
- Milk Chocolate: Select good quality milk or dark chocolate for dipping.
- Coconut flakes: Once the strawberries have been dipped in the melted chocolate, top them with coconut flakes.
- Crushed peanuts/almonds: Top chocolate covered strawberries with any crushed nuts of your choice.
- Pink sprinkles: Decorate chocolate dipped strawberries with pink sprinkles.
How to Make Pink Chocolate Covered Strawberries
- Start by adding chopped white chocolate to a bowl. Then, warm the chocolate for 30 second intervals in a microwave and stir between each interval. Repeat this step until the chocolate has melted fully.
Tips: You can also use white chocolate chips instead.
2. Next add 2-3 drops of pink food coloring to the chocolate and stir. For a darker pink add more drops of pink food coloring.
3. Dip strawberries into the pink chocolate. If the strawberries do not have a stem then stick a toothpick into the strawberries to help when dipping. Then add toppings and leave to dry on a rack or parchment paper.
4. As the pink chocolate covered strawberries dry prepare the milk or dark chocolate. Add milk or dark chocolate to a bowl. Then warm the chocolate for 30-second intervals in a microwave and stir inbetween each interval. Repeat this step until the chocolate has melted fully.
Tip: If you’d like to make the chocolate more shiny then add a few drops of oil.
5. Dip the strawberries into the chocolate, add toppings and leave to dry on a rack or parchment paper.

6. Decorate chocolate covered strawberries with any topping of your choice. For this recipe, use crushed peanuts or almonds, coconut flakes, sprinkles and chocolate.
