- Croissant: I use fresh croissants for this recipe. However, you can also use homemade croissants.
- Heavy/ Double cream: Use full-fat cream and whip until stiff peaks form. To make the filling. Make sure the cream is cold for the best results when whipping.
- Pistachio paste: Use shop-bought pistachio paste or homemade for the filling and topping.
- Pistachio: Deshell roasted pistachios and chop. This is used to top the croissants.

How to Make Croissant Pistachios

- Start by chopping deshelled pistachios and set aside for later. Then, pour heavy cream into a bowl.

2. Add sugar to the heavy cream.

3. Whip for three minutes.

4. Add pistachio paste into the bowl.

5. Whip for another two minutes or until peaks form.

6. Then, use a knife to slice croissants in half.

7. Then grab a piping bag or spoon and scoop the pistachio cream into the croissant and close it.

8. Top the croissant with more pistachio cream as shown, crushed pistachios and drizzle pistachio paste on top.

- Hand-held electric whisk

Ingredients
- 2 croissants
- 1 cup heavy/double cream
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- 1.5 tablespoon of pistachio paste
- 3 tablespoon of chopped pistachios
- 3 tablespoon of pistachio paste
Instructions
- Chop deshelled pistachios and set aside for later.
- Pour heavy cream into a bowl and add sugar. Whip for three minutes using a hand-held electric whisk.
- Next, add 1.5 tablespoon of pistachio paste to the cream and whip for another two minutes or until stiff peaks form.
- Then, use a knife to slice croissants in half.
- Add pistachio cream to a piping bag or use a spoon to scoop the pistachio cream into the croissant and close it.
- Then, add the pistachio cream on top of the croissant in the center. Then, top the croissants with the chopped pistachios.
- Finally drizzle 3 tablespoon of pistachio paste on top of the croissants. If the pistachio paste is thick, add a drop of oil and mix to loosen it.
