Oreo Tiramisu Ingredients

See the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.
- Oreo cookies: Select normal-sized Oreos for this Oreo tiramisu recipe.
- Heavy cream: Use full-fat cream to make the Oreo tiramisu filling.
- Espresso: If you have a coffee maker, then make an espresso shot. Alternatively, you can use instant coffee.
Tips and Substitutions
- Ladyfingers:ย If you want a more traditional tiramisu, then you can add ladyfingers between each layer instead of Oreos.
- Dish: For this Oreo tiramisu recipe, I use an oval dish; however, you can use a rectangle, square, circular dish, or mini dessert cups.
- Topping: This Oreo tiramisu is topped with dark chocolate ganache and melted white chocolate; however, you can top it with cocoa powder or Oreo crumbs.
How to Make Oreo Tiramisu

Step 1: Pour heavy cream and sugar into a bowl.
Step 2: Whisk until stiff peaks form and set aside. In a separate bowl, whisk mascarpone and vanilla until smooth.
Step 3: Add one-third of whipped cream to the mascarpone and gently fold in. Repeat this step with the remaining whipped cream.
Step 4: Then, finally, fold in five tablespoons of crushed Oreos.

Step 5: Pour coffee into a shallow plate and dip an Oreo in on one side for a few seconds.
Step 6: Then, place the Oreo in an oval dish. Repeat this step until the Oreos cover the bottom of the dish.
Step 7: Next, add half of the mascarpone filling and smooth it out until flat.
Step 8: Then, add another layer of coffee-soaked Oreos on top of the filling, followed by the final layer of mascarpone filling.
Topping

Step 9: Wrap the Oreo tiramisu with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least six hours or overnight.
Step 10: Before serving the tiramisu, prepare the topping. Add dark chocolate to a bowl.
Step 11: Then, add cream to the bowl.
Step 12: Heat in the microwave for 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval. Repeat this step until the chocolate has fully melted. In a separate bowl, add white chocolate and oil. Heat in the microwave for 10-second intervals, stirring after each interval. Repeat this step until the chocolate has fully melted. Let both mixtures cool, but mix from time to time to prevent them from setting.

Step 13: Remove the tiramisu from the fridge and remove the plastic wrap. Then, pour the dark chocolate ganache on top.
Step 14: Smooth into an even layer.
Step 15: Then, add the melted white chocolate to a piping bag and cut a small hole at the tip. Pipe horizontal lines across the ganache from top to bottom, right to left.
Step 16: To create the decorative pattern on top of the Oreo tiramisu, gently drag a toothpick or skewer vertically through the white chocolate lines, alternating directions for a stunning finish.

Step 17: Add Oreos to a bowl or ziplock bag.
Step 18: Crush to form crumbs.
Step 19: Add crumbs around the Oreo tiramisu.
Step 20: Place Oreo in the middle.

Notes
- Ladyfinger Swap: For a classic twist, substitute Oreos with traditional ladyfingers between each layer for a more authentic feel.
- Dish Options: While this recipe uses an oval dish, feel free to use rectangular, square, or round baking dishes, or opt for individual dessert cups.
- Topping Alternatives: This version features a rich, dark chocolate ganache and a white chocolate drizzle, but you can opt for a simpler finish with a dusting of cocoa powder or crushed Oreos.
