Homemade fried rice is a great meal option if you have leftover white rice in the fridge. With a few more ingredients you can recreate your favorite takeaway dish!
A Simple Prawn Fried Rice Recipe
- Heat a drop of oil in a wok pan. Once the oil is hot add the prawns and season them with salt and pepper to taste. Fry for 3-5 minutes and set aside for later.
- Heat oil in the same wok. Add onions, garlic and sweet pepper to the wok and fry 2-3 minutes. Then add the cooked rice, peas, prawns, scrambled eggs, salt, pepper, soy sauce, lemon juice and sugar to the wok and mix well. Leave to cook on a low/medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
How to Store A Simple Prawn Fried Rice Recipe
This dish can be refrigerated for 2-3 days.

Ingredients
- 2 cups of cooked rice
- 100 g of prawns
- 2 eggs scrambled
- 1/4 cup of peas cooked
- 1/4 sweet red pepper
- 1/2 onion
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp sugar
- Pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp of sesame oil
