Ingredients

Oats, brown sugar, strawberry puree, salt, butter, cinnamon and melted white chocolate.

See the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.

  • Oats: I used rolled oats for this recipe, but it should work just fine with any other type of oats. Rolled oats contain a bit more fiber than quick-cooking oats.
  • Brown sugar: It has a caramel-like flavor, but you can swap it with granulated sugar.
  • Butter: Use unsalted butter for this recipe. If you use salted butter, omit the salt from the recipe.
  • Strawberry puree: You can buy shop-bought strawberry puree or make it yourself by blending or crushing strawberries. You can also use frozen strawberries.

Tips and Substitutions

  • Chocolate: For a healthier option, consider swapping the white chocolate with dark chocolate, which is rich in antioxidants.
  • Sweetener: Use honey, stevia, agave nectar, or maple syrup instead of brown sugar for a refined-sugar-free bar.
  • Berries: You can swap the strawberries with fresh blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries. Or, try mixing the fruit for a three-berry healthy snack bar!

  • ½ cup of white chocolate melted
