Caramel Frappuccino Ingredients
See the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.
- Espresso: I used Brazilian coffee beans to make the espresso. It is important to use good-quality coffee beans, as they will affect the flavor of the frappe.
- Caramel: Use shop-bought caramel, which is normally sold in a jar or make the caramel from scratch.
- Milk: Add the milk of your choice to this frappe. For a vegan option, use any plant-based milk. Some great options include almond milk, oat milk, and coconut milk.
- Ice: Use ice cubes or crushed ice.
- Sweetener: Feel free to add any sweetener you have on hand. I use sugar as a sweetener.
- Whipped cream: You can use shop-bought whipped cream or make some from scratch. To make whipped cream, pour ½ a cup of double cream into a bowl, add 1-2 teaspoons of sugar, and whisk until stiff peaks form.
Tips and Substitutions

- Milk: For the best results, use full-fat milk for this Frappuccino. You can use any other milk you prefer.

Recipe FAQs
Caramel Frappuccinos can be made in different ways. Most include espresso, milk, ice, caramel, and sweetener. Sometimes, ice cream is added, too.
Coffee shops like Starbucks and Costa sell frappes, cold beverages containing coffee. Most frappes include milk, ice, a sweetener, and espresso. However, strawberry, lemon, and vanilla frappes do not contain coffee.
Frappuccinos contain milk and are served cold, blended with ice. Lattes contain milk and are served hot without ice, with the cold version known as an iced latte.
Some Frappuccinos include coffee, while others do not. Sweet fruit-based Frappuccinos typically lack coffee.
