TikTok Garlic Bread Ingredients
See the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.
- Unsalted butter: Make sure it is at room temperature so it is easy to mix it with the other ingredients. Salted butter can be used instead of unsalted butter, but make sure you add less salt if this is the case.
- Whole garlic: This recipe requires two entire bulbs of garlic.
- Grated Parmesan: Use fresh parmesan cheese or pre-grated parmesan cheese.
- Shredded mozzarella: Shred the mozzarella or buy a pre-shredded pack.
- Parsley: Other alternatives to parsley include oregano and chives.
- Olive oil: Use olive oil for best results.
- Baguette bread: Use fresh baguette bread.
Tips and Substitutions
- Butter: Use salted butter instead of the unsalted butter but you will need to adjust the amount of salt you use in the TikTok garlic bread recipe.
- Garlic bread: Make sure you coat the bread in garlic butter. Do not miss any corners as you want the garlic spread to be infused in the bread as much as possible.
- Cheese: If you want super cheesy garlic bread, don't be shy about adding mozzarella. Add enough to cover the entire bread after adding the garlic spread and enjoy the cheesy goodness once it's done.
- Bread: I usually opt for half-cooked baguettes, which you can find in most supermarkets. The results are always great, and the bread cooks perfectly alongside the garlic spread and cheese. However, some people use French sticks or brioche bread instead. It is up to you!
- Alternatives: Get creative with this garlic bread and make it to your taste. Some people like to add mozzarella cheese, while others don't. You can also add chili flakes and skip the parsley if you are not a fan. You may also enjoy this Easy Margherita Pizza.
