Today, we’ll show you our new favorite recipe: chocolate nice cream! This healthy and rich dessert can feed 1-2 people at a time, but it is so easy to make that you'll be scrambling for more.

The Best Thing About Nice Cream...
...Is that its dairy-free! It is a totally vegan option (but dairy lovers won’t be able to tell the difference). Plus, by substituting milk chocolate for unsweetened cocoa powder and chocolate syrup with honey or agave, you are saving yourself from consuming a lot more sugar than you should.

Why is Frozen Banana So Good?
Usually, when we recommend frozen banana in our recipes, new cooks wonder if the consistency of the final product will be a little wonky. Other frozen foods tend to get soggy or chewy when thawed.
But it’s the high amount of pectin in bananas that make them the perfect consistency for chopping and blending. You might be surprised how smooth and consistent this recipe will turn out to be. It will be so creamy and rich, you’ll wonder if there’s dairy in this recipe after all!
How to Make Healthy Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe
1. Peel and chop 2 frozen bananas into small pieces. Place them in a plastic bag and freeze them overnight.
2. Add them to your food processor Once they are nice and frozen (a blender will do just fine, too). Along with the bananas, add 2-3 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, 2-3 tablespoon of honey, 2-3 tablespoon of almond milk, and a tiny bit of vanilla extract to taste.
3. Blend it all together until it has a smooth, creamy consistency, like real ice cream.
4. Scoop it into a bowl, add your favorite toppings (strawberries, peanut butter, nuts, and more), and enjoy!
Don’t Re-Freeze it
Once you’ve blended your ingredients together, they should be eaten on the same day. While many of the ingredients can last separately, the blended concoction is best consumed ASAP.

Equipment
- 1 Blender or Food processor
Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract to taste optional
